A new contemporary build outside Kettering in Northamptonshire.

As with many blue bricks, the finish was not good and had been made worse by poor cleaning. In addition the specified black mortar colour had changed to a light finish with all colour pigment dispersing.

The home owner took this opportunity to darken the colour slightly, asking us to tint both the brick and mortar to more of a matt black finish, creating the crisp contemporary finish that they were  after.
